December is always a time when we reflect on things we have and have not accomplished for the past 12 months. If you are ending 2017 with lots of goals and success knocked off your list, Congrats to you! If not, its all good. I have some tips to help you get started right now. Before the ball drops:)
Success with Online Learning
The internet is FULL of amazing ways to learn. Just the thought of it gets me excited. You know why? Because it gives us all even more control of our success. The days are long gone with the excuse “I don’t know how.” If you truly want to accomplish something you can definitely find some initial resources online and go from there.
Prioritize and Time Management
These 24 hours in a day can go pretty quickly. We are all guilty of wasting time here and there, but it’s the “getting back into swing” that really can keep us off track. I can’t talk about planners enough. They have been my success saviors. My monthly planner truly keeps me going day to day. It forces me to make changes and prioritize myself. If planners aren’t your thing. No problem. There are tons of other ways to make sure you stay on track. Set reminders on these smartphones or even get old fashion with sticky notes. Another tip is to pull away from social media every once and awhile. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish with your time.
Seeing is Believing
For the most part, we keep our goals in our heads. Sure, we have them written down in a journal or notebook, but let’s take it a step further. Take those goals out of hiding and put them up like a work of art. Vision boards have become popular over the last few years.
They aren’t just fun to do. I see them as a great tool to help manifest your goal. Be sure to put it up in a place where you can always see it. Places such as over your desk at home or even in your bedroom when you first wake up. Remember “Seeing is Believing.”
All in All, we have the power to make our dreams and goals come true. There is a different winning formula for us all. The backbone of it comes from the areas I have shared above. Take some much needed downtime during the holidays to set yourself up for success in the new year. I promise you will not regret it.
