As the days go by and the years are quickly moving, so are we.   Let’s face it, we grow older and age.  Don’t believe me? Ask your body.  Our body gives us signs that we are aging, however, we can endure this process gracefully.  One way of doing this is taking care of our skin!   Day to day we are in contact with so many people, places, and things.  One of those things is the environment, which is one causing an effect in the breaking down of our skin.

There is a defense to all the things that come with our skin on a daily, it’s having a skincare regimen in line as an every day and every night routine.  Here are some reasons why you need a skincare regimen and the steps you can take to getting started.

1.It protects your skin from the sun.

Having a skin care regimen will protect your face from the sun.  Being in the sun without any sun protector factor (SPF) on your skin, (which is found in your moisturizer) can cause some serious damage.  You may not see it right away, but the damage is caused in the deep layers of your skin.  You can prevent this from happening by having a suitable moisturizer for your skin.  Make sure the moisturizer is for your unique skin type, (i.e. normal/dry/oily/combination skin).

  1. You can reverse some previous damage.

The sooner you start, the better.  Age spots, dark circles, and wrinkles can start to show signs of reversing when you start the skincare regimen that best fits your skin type.  For example, an eye firming cream will start to show results with consistent use for undereye damage.

  1. Prevent future damage to your future skin.

When you take care of your skin now, you will be preserving your future skin.  Taking care of your skin is a part of taking care of you.   So, you at least need a cleanser and moisturizer for the basic skin care routine.  You can always add things like dark spot reducer and serum with vitamin C and other vitamins to your skincare regimen.

Remember, beauty is skin deep and so is skin damage.

Take care of you by taking care of the beautiful face of yours.
